MealPal Day 6 (halfway there): Guac Star
Address: 66 Pearl St., New York, NY
Day of the week: Wednesday
Order: Chicken Burrito
Burrito with chipotle tamarind chicken. Served with brown rice, black beans, lettuce, cheddar cheese, Monterrey Jack cheese, pico de gallo, sour cream, tomatillo sauce and jalapeno.
Value: $12

This burrito was YUGEEE. And mighty delicious. The chicken was SO fresh, and the rice had a really nice seasoning to it. Usually I’m sad when there’s no guac, but in this case, it was all gucci—I even had to split this baby into two because I couldn’t get it all to fit in my stomach in one sitting. Bigger portions = multiple meals. Leftovers = our friend.

With the pretty much zero wait time, ridiculous amount of food, and taste, I give this MealPal trip a 5 OUT OF 5. #Ballin. My only sadness lies in the fact that Guac Star doesn’t have its own website—they’re only on Seamless and the other usual suspect sites (GrubHub, etc.).
ICYMI: Here’s my intro post as to what I’m doing (MealPal) and why I’m doing it (to eat good food in New York City without spending a fortune).
