I thought yesterday’s MealPal trip would be my favorite, but I may have been wrong. I’d passed this little taqueria—Toloache Taqueria, on Maiden Lane—almost every day on my way to work, but had never stopped in, until I noticed the joint on MealPal. And boy, was the food delicious! I’m a big Caesar salad fan, but the Toloache spin on this classic was to die for. Here’s my review:

Toloache Taqueria is the cheap-eats spin-off of the OG Toloache restaurant, started by Iron Chef contestant Julian Medina, says New York magazine. Toloache has three locations throughout the city (Hell’s Kitchen, Upper East Side, Washington Square Park), but there’s only one taqueria, and the Financial District is lucky to have it.
